Help us meet our goal! 

The PTA’s annual Grizzly Fundraising campaign has launched! Between now and September 30th, we need to raise $125,000 to support critical programs at John Muir. Your support means:

• Together, our parent community funds two incredible full-time literacy and math support experts who are in every classroom, four days a week. This means that teachers have more capacity to give individualized attention to every child. 

• The most robust afterschool enrichment program of any school in the district, with ceramics, theater, basketball, chess, Spanish, ASL, martial arts, creative writing, and more

• Grants to every teacher for field trips, extra classroom enrichment and materials

• Funding for our library, garden, and 5th grade Outdoor School!

• Next year we aim to launch an Artist-in-Residence program and bring art education to all TK - 2nd grade learners, in addition to our excellent dance and music programs! 

These programs cost over $850 per student – please give as generously as you can. For Kindergarten and TK families that were previously paying for private preschool, we suggest a donation of one month's preschool tuition.
